My Story

As a Birthkeeper, my goal is to give you and your family the attention and knowledge you need to make informed decisions about your pregnancy and labour.

I love all things birth, I also love educating others.

I believe birth is sacred and a ceremony to be celebrated.

Growing up rurally I had the opportunity to be around cattle

and help with calving season. 

In 2000, I became an Animal Health Technologist and loved being the Veterinarian's helper attending the farm calls.

Around this same time, I also witnessed my own mother labour and give birth to my sister.  This was when I realized how blessed I was to have found such a passion. 

After giving birth to my own three children, I chose to pursue a fulfilling career as a Birth Keeper and Sacred Story Keeper.

I love working with expectant folks and their families to help them navigate the birth and labor process.

I look at each new birth as a unique experience and in return I hold space for the birthing person with the

encouragement and motivation they need.
